TRAVEL TO WAYANAD & WAYANAD SIGHTSEEING

1. Banasura Sagar Dam

At a distance of 22 km from Kalpetta, 21 km from Mananthavady, 46 km from Sulthan Bathery, Banasura Sagar Dam is the largest earthen dam in India and second largest in Asia. This is one of the most popular tourist places in Wayanad and often represented in the promotion of Wayanad Tourism.

2. Pookote Lake

At a distance of 13 km from Kalpetta and 3 km from Vythiri, Pookote Lake, also known as Pookode Lake is a natural fresh water lake situated close to the Kalpetta - Kozhikode main road (1 km) in Wayanad district of Kerala.

VISIT EDAKKAL & WAYANAD SANCTUARY

1. Edakkal Caves

At a distance of 6 km from Ambalavalayal, 14 km from Sulthan Bathery and 28 km from Kalpetta, Edakkal Caves are two natural caves located on top of Ambukutty Mala near Ambalavalayal in Wayanad. Edakkal caves are one of the prime tourist places to visit in Wayanad and often represented in the promotion of Wayanad Tourism.

2. Wayanad Wildlife Sanctuary - Muthanga

At a distance of 14 km from Sulthan Bathery and 39 km from Kalpetta, Muthunga Wildlife Sanctuary, also known as Wayanad Wildlife Sanctuary, is a sanctuary and Elephant Reserve in Wayanad district of Kerala

WAYANAD SIGHTSEEING & TRAVEL TO KOZHIKODE

1. Soochipara Waterfalls / Sentinel Rock Waterfalls

At a distance of 13 km from Meppadi, 24 km from Kalpetta & 46 km from Sulthan Bathery, Soochipara Waterfalls, also known as Sentinel Rock Waterfalls, is a beautiful waterfall situated in Vellarimala mountain range of Wayanad, among the popular tourist places in Kerala.

2. Thusharagiri Waterfalls

At a distance of 32 km from Kalpetta, 48 km from Kozhikode & 6 km from Kodencheri, Thusharagiri Falls is a scenic waterfall located in Kozhikode district of Kerala, India. This is one of the most beautiful waterfalls in Malabar region and also one of the best places to visit in Kozhikode.
